new apple stuff and my birthday

No, my birthday has nothing to do with apple's keynote yesterday.
Slightly disappointed, I found out after a fabulous dinner at my friends house that Apple's keynote was only about the new iphone. Yes, we all agree, the new iPhone is a very good evolution to the last model (3gs), nicely packaged, good hardware and great software improvements. It's a beautiful piece of engineering.
But, we were all expecting more. iTunes has been rumored after the keynote though, but that's no biggie as a new iphone is to be released in the wild, a new iTunes version is logical. So what else?
Well, what about OSX 10.7? It's out there, but apparently still being tested.
What about iTunes cloud?
I am a heavy itunes user, but I am actively on the lookout for a model to bring my content to the cloud - and an iTunes cloud service would be great. Knowing apple though, it will probably be paid, and Google is rumored to launch Google Music anytime soon, so I might go for a combined model: iTunes to get the content, Google to play it where I want it to.
Being a heavy google user, android fanboy and (junior android developer), I am looking into ways of using something like Android to power a media solution at home that talks to the clouds for it's content. Funny enough, Apple is rumored to do the same(ish) with the successor of the apple tv, which is supposed to be some form of ipod touch with network disk options.

All in all, it's going to be an interesting year, that's for sure. I just wish Apple and Google gave up playing competitor all the time. I like em both, see.
